Hope For Paws received an alert about a homeless cat on the streets with part of her face gone. It was JoAnn who would set out for rescue and find the kitty taking refuge within a fenced area. The poor thing had certainly seen better days, but she was so friendly and sweet despite her troubles.

The loving cat surrendered to her rescuer as if she knew she were there to help. JoAnn placed her in a crate to get her over to the hospital and named her Angel Face. She ended up being diagnosed with a fungal infection called Cryptococcus and tested positive for the feline immunodeficiency virus.

Her condition would take months of applying an expensive oral anti-fungal medication, and the cat would be fostered by Let Them Be Little Feline Rescue for the time being. Angel Face has hope thanks to all of the donors and supporters, and she’ll be able to find a forever home one day because of them! 🙂
