When an animal wants to play, sometimes they will go to any means necessary to get their humans to engage with them. We know dogs and cats know how to encourage a play session with their owners, but did you ever see a baby elephant try to do the same? When the spirit to play takes over this baby elephant, we are so thrilled someone took video for all the Internet to see.
Dan Daeng was doing some chores at the Mae-Sa Elephant Camp in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Little did he know painting a fence would be the hardest thing he would do that day. The reason for this is that the baby elephant in the pen behind Daeng had other plans. The sweet 1-year-old named Khunsuk trotted over and started engaging with the man.
Before long, the cutie was tapping Daeng with its trunk, trying to get some play time going. When Daeng ignored the baby elephant and continued his painting, Khunsuk upped his game.
The little guy tried climbing the fence to get over and start a one-on-one play session. Daeng could not help but laugh, put his paintbrush down, and jokingly play with the cute elephant.
Watch this adorable video and try not to smile. This is the cutest thing we’ve seen in ages!
