Professional fisherman Eric Jackson, of Rock Island, TN, was trying to launch his boat at Lake Sam Rayburn to practice for a fishing tournament, but things didn’t go quite as he expected.

His two-year-old Dalmatian, Bodi, was with him and decided to take matters into his own paws. The mischievous pup stepped on the gear shift switch, which put the 38-foot RV into reverse.

The RV then began backing down the boat ramp into the lake, and Jackson, who was unloading the boat on the back bumper, quickly ran around the side of the RV and hopped inside to try and stop it from going all the way into the water.

He managed to get his foot on the brake, but at that point the RV was already partially in the lake. The incident was caught on video for all to see.

Jackson shared the video on his Facebook page with the caption, “RV’s float, until they sink.” The video shows the inside of his RV, which filled up with water, but thankfully no one got hurt.

A photo shows Bodi hiding out in the RV after the whole ordeal. I think it’s safe to say that Bodi won’t be backing up any more RVs into lakes for a while!
