Some people may forget that, at one point in history, dogs were completely wild. The family pet lying at your feet, many years ago, would have been comfortable running through the forests with wolves.

Although, some pups may still feel comfortable having a wild play date!

Take this Belgian Malinois dog for example. He may be completely domesticated, but he doesn’t mind having a good wrestle with his wolf pal.

Thankfully, in the video, the duo romp and play as if they were litter mates! The wolf is strong, but it’s clear he doesn’t want to do any harm to his canine cousin. If anything, he lets the dog have the upper hand while he is more passive.

Wolves, coyotes, dingos, jackals, and other wild canines, are strong creatures that might not treat your family pet with such kindness.

They are gorgeous animals, but if you ever come across one, give it the distance and respect it deserves.
