The popular television show, America’s Got Talent, has gone to the dogs. In their latest season, featuring champions from previous shows, contestants come together to compete in a variety of acts. Ashleigh Butler knows the way to the judges’ hearts is with a bark, wag, and an adorable dog.
In 2012, Butler won Britain’s Got Talent with her dancing dog, Pudsey. She soon became a global sensation, with the dog starring in his own movie, winning over a half a million dollars, and performing for Queen Elizabeth. When the now 23-year-old took the stage to compete in the latest episode, Pudsey was glaringly absent.
The little dog passed away from cancer at age 11. Devastated and missing a dog, she brought a new pooch into her life, Sully. The dog is a near-lookalike to his predecessor, Pudsey. When the duo took to the stage for their debut performance, fans and judges alike wondered if they would do well.
The routine was fashioned around a boxing ring and the antics were a riot. The judges loved it, the audience rose to their feet, and when you watch the video below, you’ll see why. What a knockout from Sully!
