The Humane Society of the United States raided a dog meat farm in South Korea and rescued over 200 dogs, one of them named Gochu. All the tiny pup knew was his tiny cage with wire floors. But because of the rescuers’ efforts, life for this sweet dog was about to change drastically.
The HSUS shut down the farm and placed Gochu in a temporary shelter in Canada where he would receive love and begin learning to acclimate to a better life. It was so different from sitting and sleeping on a barren wire floor all the time. And it wouldn’t be long until the sweet pup found his loving forever home!
Now little Gochu is living his best life with some cat siblings, and he couldn’t be happier! Supporting the HSUS allows dogs rescued from situations like this to forget wire floors were ever a thing. 🙂
