Cassandra Clark sometimes saw a Husky outside on the neighbor’s balcony, and there was no reason to think anything bad about it. But when things started to change one day, she took notice and did something about it.
It wasn’t long before the Husky was out there with a metal muzzle around his mouth in a crate much too small for him.
It was 104 degrees outside, and Cassandra couldn’t just let the dog stay outside like that. She called animal services, but they said they may not be able to respond for 24 hours. So she took matters into her own hands.
Cassandra posted about the situation on her Facebook page, and it garnered a lot of attention. This ultimately led to the Husky’s rescue!
A rescue team arrived at the home, and they found something else at the site. There was another Husky and several cats for a total of 13 pets in the home.
If Cassandra hadn’t acted when she did that day, those 13 malnourished and neglected animals wouldn’t have made it.
This amazing rescue is all thanks to Cassandra Clark and the power of social media! If you think an animal is in need of help, act and don’t wait until it’s too late.
