I scream, you scream, we all might scream at this ice cream! Can you imagine eating ice cream that looks like a live dog? That’s exactly what J.C. Co Art Kitchen in Taiwan is doing and it is a hit!
The ice cream creations are crafted to look like Pugs, Labrador Retrievers, and Shar Pei dogs. According to FOX News, they make around 100 of these delicacies per day and each cost between $3.50 and $6 American dollars.
Folks on social media either think the frozen doggo desserts are cute or creepy. There are gifs inspired by the new trend as well. Have you seen them?
In true entrepreneurial spirit, the popularity of this doggone frozen treat has inspired a copycat.
A cafe in the town of Yilan, on the other side of Taiwan, now serves a frozen dog dessert, too.
The molds used give the frozen dog its hairy look, while the freezing process takes close to an entire day to complete. Whatever the case, people can’t get enough of this latest canine craze.
