If you are a dog owner, at some point you’ve taken a photo, or a few thousand, of your pet. Sometimes it can be tricky to get our pups to pose in the perfect position and look at the camera. So imagine how hard it would be to try and get 16 Dachshunds to line up, sit pretty, and pose for a picture to post online.
That’s exactly what one teenager accomplished and now social media has fallen in love with the adorable pack of little dogs from Wales.
It all started with a bet that 19-year-old Liam Beach took from his friend. His buddy bet Liam he could not get his 16 sweet doggos to line up on the stairs for a photo. The Dachshunds, named Lottie, Daisy, Dudley, Wallie, Diamond, Ruby, Benjie, Buster, Bonnie, Ziggy, Sammy, Kizzy, Kiki, Zac, Duke and Saffie, were first placed on the steps and given the “stay” command.
Liam used a tennis ball to get all of the dogs focused and then he started snapping photos one after another. On the line was the bet and a box of chocolates from his pal.
The savvy dog dad told media, “It took me eight minutes in total. I timed myself. I put each dog on the stairs and told them to ‘stay’. Then I used a squeaky tennis ball to get their attention and clicked away on the camera.”
Someday Liam wants to open his own grooming shop, as he already has an Animal Management degree. Looks like he is off to a perfect, or is that “paw-fect” start with this sweet bunch of cuties!
