Sometimes, the only thing that differentiates a winner from the rest of the pack is someone who believes in them. That’s certainly the case with a horse named MHB Got Faith.
That particular horse can’t seem to lose.
11-year-old Breana Carsey is the horse’s owner, and despite the fact that he was the runt of the litter, he enters races and wins. Pretty much all the time.
She always dreamed her horse would be a racing champion. Her father braced her for reality, explaining that even third place would be a win. But Breana believed. Or, you could say, she had faith. MJB Got Faith, to be exact.
Her father encouraged her to sell the pony. After all, it wasn’t cheap paying for the horse’s care. But Breana had other intentions. And so did MJB Got Faith.
He won his first race, and second, and third and fourth! Then, he qualified for the state championship. And, as luck would have it, he won that, too!
Breana won a hundred thousands dollars that day, half of which she’s given to charity, and the other half she’s saving to buy a farm.
Her dad, in the meantime, knows he only needs to have faith, too.
Within a year Breana won a national horse racing award and even landed a book and movie deal!
