Nan Hauser, a renowned marine biologist, has spent more than 28 years studying and protecting whales. However, during one of her recent diving trips to study Humpback whales, she found herself in acute danger, as a 20-ton Humpback whale suddenly began swimming towards her.
Nan was panic-stricken, as the giant whale got up close to her and began ramming her under his pectoral fin. Nan knew that one hard strike from those huge fins could rupture her organs, so she decided not to fight back, and remained calm.
As Nan tried to save herself from drowning, she noticed another dark figure in the vicinity. It was a huge Tiger shark, eyeing to prey on Nan! All this time, the whale was actually trying to save her from becoming the predator shark’s dinner!
Eventually, the whale gently nudged Nan towards her boat, and she was able to get back to safety. Without a doubt, whales are one of the most intelligent and brave creatures on this planet!
