Hope For Paws received a call about a homeless dog with one eye trying to take refuge on someone’s property. The house had a dog the stray was interested in, and he needed a place to call home. When they arrived on scene, they saw the stray inside the fence.

The stray’s friend, Blue the Pit Bull, came outside to see what was going on. But even with his friend by his side, the little pup was still hesitant of the rescuers. After just a moment of stress, Loreta was able to secure the Lucky Leash around his neck. The dog finally calmed down as if he realized they were there to help.

They finally got a closer look at his eye. It was still there but badly injured, so it had to be removed. But Pirate wouldn’t let that get him down; he knew life was about to get a lot better! Pal Rescue took him in as a foster, and it wasn’t long before he found a loving forever home. 🙂
