Dalmatians are known for their spots, but one particular spotted Dalmatian from Leicester in the United Kingdom is making international headlines. The dog, named Pudsey, looks like most Dalmatians at first, but there is something very unique and outstanding about his markings. The 2-year-old doggo has a word spelled out in spots on his back. Whenever people see Pudsey out and about, they do a “double-take” at the dog.

Pudsey’s mom, 32-year-old Jenna Barnett, first saw the pooch in a dog shelter and fell head over heels in love. She loved his personality and quirky spots, which soon formed a very beautiful word, “love.” Pudsey’s adorable spots actually spell out the word love on the side of his back, which is something Barnett says gets a lot of attention.

The darling doggo has no idea why everyone wants to meet him and get a closer look at his spots, but not many dogs have the word ‘love’ scrawled across their fur. Pudsey’s mom claims the dog’s personality is “spot on” with the word love, as he is a great big bundle of joy. He loves to meet new people, play with other dogs, and brighten the lives of everyone he meets.
