A 59-year-old Colorado man recently died after suffering a seizure at a local 7-Eleven store. The man’s Chihuahua named Sampson went missing right after his death. Later, the store’s surveillance camera footage revealed a woman shamelessly snatching Sampson away from the dying man and walking off.

While Sampson’s family doesn’t want to press charges after the safe return of their furry companion, the cops are still looking for the woman who stole Sampson. The police department has now turned to the public for any help in the recognition of this thief. Update: As per recent developments, Longmont police have managed to find Sampson on the local streets. The dog has now been reunited with his family. However, there is no trace of the woman who stole Sampson and then dumped him on the streets out of fear.
