Scott Hodges has been working as a UPS driver for the past 32 years, and one of the reasons he cherishes his job is because of the abundance of friendly dogs he meets on his route! But as he began sharing adorable pictures of his many furry route buddies on social media, he unwittingly became a heroic ambassador for Pit Bulls!
Back in the day, Scott had a Pit Bull named Sheba, who was his faithful companion for 15 years. Sheba’s gentle nature and selfless love for everybody made him develop a soft spot for Pit Bulls. So when she passed away, Scott found himself befriending all the Pit Bulls on his work route for comfort.
Over the years, Scott began sharing pictures of his many encounters with “scary and vicious” Pit Bulls. Thankfully, the man was always able to dodge the “wrath” of the “dangerous” breed with mandatory biscuit treats and skilled belly rubs! Phew! What a survivor!
It was only a matter of time before the community noticed Scott’s wholesome love for Pit Bulls through the many pictures he shared on social media. They were forced to acknowledge the negative perception around this breed – who were really just innocent and harmless snuggle enthusiasts!
Today, Scott is friends with every single dog on his route. Dogs of different breeds and sizes flock to him every time they see his signature brown vehicle. They overdose him with tail wags and cuddles and get their cherished treats like excited little kids. With his simple gesture, Scott brings joy to these precious furballs every single day! Way to go, Scott!
