Pee Wee the Pug was a very sick puppy. At nearly four months of age, he weighed in at only 3.3 pounds, which is severely underweight for a dog of that age. Not only did he require surgery to remove one of his eyes, but more expensive surgeries and treatments were needed to save his life.
The rescue group set up an online fundraiser. Overnight, $2,000 was raised, and then the GoFundMe page really took off. With a total of $8,000 raised. Not only was Pee Wee helped, but other Pugs were too.
Once the little guy recovered, his new parents were able to finally meet him. Afraid that Pee Wee might get injured due to his tiny size, his new owners gave him all the love and care he needed. He gets six walks a day and even gets a massage to wind down.
Pee Wee plays with other dogs, acts like the leader on walks with the other rescue dogs in the family, and fits right in. Though he is deaf, he gets around just fine. The Pug even goes bike riding with his dad thanks to a very special handmade backpack.
Nowadays, Pee Wee and his parents help raise money for other dogs in need. Love knows no size and no limits, as you will see in this beautiful video.
