Life, at times, can be kind of drab. We wake up, we get ready for work, we go to work, we work, we drive home from work… And then we do it all over again! So, anything that can break up the monotony and make us smile is priceless.
One man, Vince Rozmiarek, who lives in Indian Hills, Colorado fully understands the pain of our day-to-day grind. He decided to use the sign in front of the community center where he volunteers to amuse drivers as they pass by. The results are genius!
Vince created his first ‘punny’ sign one April Fool’s Day five years ago, and it was a hit! He told My Modern Met:
“I put up a sign that really stirred up the area. We have a heavy police presence in the town of Morrison, which is next to Indian Hills, and they run a ton of speed traps. The sign said ‘Indian Hills annexed by Morrison, slow down.’ Many people believed that prank, and the amount of attention it brought was really surprising.”
Vince changes the sign at least once a week. Sometimes he uses themes that revolve around upcoming holidays and sometimes he just says what’s on his mind (and it’s seriously hilarious!)
