Wakeboarding is a popular water sport where you ride on something resembling a surfboard. For one woman who went wakeboarding in the Sea of Cortez, off the coast of Mexico, she encountered an unexpected watery surprise.
The man maneuvering the boat was all smiles as the woman he was pulling on the wakeboard looked over her shoulder to see a huge cluster of dolphins. Not only did they appear out of nowhere, but they were swimming along with her and doing some acrobatic water tricks.
According to Whale and Dolphin Conservation, dolphins and porpoises have many similarities, one of which is their extreme intelligence. In the wild, they can live for a very long time.
Imagine gliding along the top of the water when you are side by side with these magnificent mammals.
This woman is clearly having the time of her life, and the dolphins seem to enjoy keeping pace with her ride. Check it out in this exciting video below.
